I finally put the towing capacity of the 4runner to work this weekend and brought home my new toy, a SBC swapped 1970 FJ40 on 35s. I kept it in D4 the entire time and ran up and down some pretty steep grades. Transmission never got over 200, torque converter never got over 220. gas mileage...

You can do catback without having to touch the tune, but if you do headers or something like a CAI it voids the tune and warranty.

I'm dead on 2500 RPM at 70mph which is kinda sweet because that's right where the procharger really starts to kick.

I'm on 33s but in the morning I'll get RPMs at various speeds for everyone. in general though I think it's 400rpm difference from not regearing, so about 100rpm over stock.

Not sure I'm following. I'm using the MF overlander exhaust with the resonator and the tune was the one from HPTUners .

I have a GPS based speedo in my dash and it regularly is connected to 14 satellites making it very very accurate. I'm not sure how to calibrate in built in toyota speedo since I think they take speed measurements off the ABS sensors.

yeah it's about 4% off on the speedo but so far I like it a lot.

Just drove mine home from the shop with 4.56s on 33s with the procharger. It used to wander between 4th and OD, it didn't shift a single time all the way home.

Sucks to hear about the procharger not having a tune yet. I can tell you on my 19 the procharger was a game changer. One thing I have noticed is that the transmission has no clue what to do for shift points after the SC and bigger tires, so if you are going under the knife it might be a good...
