Ahh ok. The cap is definitely not loose. I assume it should work something like a one way valve to let heat escape?

Well obviously...what was I thinking.

I found a loose line on the right side of the engine bay on my 2005 V8. Nothing else looks out of place and I can't see anywhere this line should go. Does anyone have a guess as to what this is? Any idea how to attach a picture to this thread that's over the 136kb limit?

Just curious as I'm no expert on differentials...Would putting it in neutral while driving change anything? The rear end is still rotating.

I've noticed something similar with my 2005 v8 but it's very difficult to detect. It seems like the transmission downshifting to me.

Milo, Did changing to Mobil 1 75w90 eliminate your low speed low frequency vibration/rumble/noise? When you first noticed the vibration/rumble/noise was it very subtle or would someone who's not into cars have been able to hear that and say something was wrong? Steve
