this doesn't help any, but I have a '95 and finding flares that fit is almost impossible, finding flares that fit and aren't just plain ugly is.

If you intentionally slip the clutch, or try to let it out on a steep incline, you should hear the same noise. It will probably only do it for a second, then heat up and grab. My guess is it doesn't do it in 4WD LOW. It's easier on the clutch because of the ultra low gearing.

I didn't raise it. It's still at factory height. I did some looking and it appears there are 6 mounts for the body, or at least that's all I could find. I think I remember hearing also that the front bumber is mounted to the body and the frame, so that would also have to be unbolted. I'm just...

My 1995 4runner's body is offset to the left about 1.5 - 2 inches. It's equal front and rear, and nothing appears bent underneath. Is it possible to loosen the body mounts and shift the thing over? Where do I find these mounts, and how many are there? OR, is this something a collision shop...
