Hey TLar25 love the stance you're running there. I'm putting on some 255/75/17 's here soon and trying to pick a wheel offset etc. - do you have wheel spacers in that pic or is it just the lower +15 offset of the 5th gen wheels helping to push them out?
He's still at it. Just received a PM from user PIZZAZZ regarding a WTB set of wheels. Requesting purchase through the same email atozfries247 @gmail.com
I basically ignored it when I realized the user was created a week ago but 5 other people had viewed his profile and when I clicked one of...
Just finished lifting my '07 Sport ~ 2.5 / 1.5 and going to put on some 255/75/17 AT's - wanted to push the wheels out a bit from the +30mm offset of the OEM Sport wheels. Wheels are expensive to ship so would love to find someone around the north metro Atlanta area - I'm located in Alpharetta, GA
Thanks for the reply - that all makes sense. I've certainly gained more form this board over the years than I've been able to contribute but hope to be of some use one day. Given the number of rusted on bolts I've come across I'd bet my rig would benefit from new UCA's as well. Thanks again.
Hey Bluesky 07 thanks for the very detailed write-up of this process - really enjoyed reading how your suspension developed over time.
Quick question on the Tacoma UCA's - you mentioned that you noticed your steering felt tighter with less drift, are you attributing that to the UCA's or the...
Looking to order front and rear Bilstein 5100's to replace the leaking XREAS for my '07 Sport and wanted to confirm the part #'s before I ordered but they don't match the Bilstein website. On the Wheelers' site for the fronts they say:
"We have these in two different versions. We have the...
Agreed on the typical over-packaging. Amazon really is great at what they do which is why this was so surprising.
And I should probably apologize to Bob22222 - my sarcasm and humor don't translate well to the written word and probably seemed more antagonistic/insulting than they were meant to...
I'm beginning to think you're the one who needs to lighten up.
As a consumer, I shouldn't have to decide how important surface damage is when purchasing an item - you at least try to deliver the thing in appropriate condition.
THEY LITERALLY DIDN'T USE A $0.05 CARDBOARD BOX....especially when...
Ha whoa there Mr. Brojangles....settle down. I didn't post this because it ruined my day - I posted it because I thought it was funny. I'm glad it happened considering I get an equally functional hitch at 40% the cost. It's funny because it was shipped and sold from amazon - a company that's...
In an interesting turn of events, amazon has offered a partial refund for the damage if I keep this item rather than exchange it. I assume it's because they don't want to have to pay to ship this 50 lb hunk of metal two more times.
So after an $70 refund this thing will cost me $52 all-in....I...
