Did anyone notice in the teaser picture the '10 4Runner is sporting a set of the Dunflop AT20 Grandtreks? These tires are some of the worst SUV rubber offered. I know that they are manufactured in Japan and probably keep their manufacturing costs down, but c'mon! There's got to be a better...

I give a thumbs up to the Dice Electronics iPod controller. It plugs right into the CD changer plug on the back of the head unit and interfaces well with the iPod. It does not do video, however. I bought mine for under $150 from a retailer on eBay. After I bought mine, I found that Dice has...

Just for reference, here is a picture of the back of the FJammer. You can see that it has the dual inputs for a diversity antenna. Maybe they have in mind to put it in future 4Runners...hopefully with a little audio tweaking.

It didn't sound bad, as much as it just brought too much of a processed sound to the party. I personally didn't like it, but someone else might. It really looked good in the dash. I'm disappointed that it didn't work out for me for sound and auxiliary input.

The Scion head unit that I have has the circuit board designed to accommodate a diversity antenna...at least it appears to. The cost of having a special connector made to accommodate the same footprint could be the reason they kept the dual connector. Or, if they are like the places I have...

Sorry, Nick, can't say that I have seen that happen. I had my '04 Runner through a few Cincinnati winters and the defroster never left just a part of the windshield icy. I did have my AC blower crap out on me when the temperature dipped below 10

I also agree with Even Steven. I waited to see the FJ do something the Dodge couldn't, and all it ended up providing was a little extra help. The Dodge, I hate to say, was doing most of the pulling. :sleep:

After reading all the raves for the Goodyear Gatorback serpentine belt, I installed one a little under 4,000 miles ago. Earlier today, I heard strange noises from under the hood and found that the belt was starting to shred apart. Lucky for me, I still had the old belt hanging in the garage...
