Had same problem
I have had the same thing happen on a few occasions over the last 8 years, including last night.
1. Put the gear shift in Neutral
2. Slip the 4WD shift into 4H
3. Put the gear shift into Drive or Reverse
This works for me when I have the exact same problem. Hope it works...
