With all the K&N haters out there, I'm surprised by only getting 5 replies. No one else has an opinion?? :confused: If not, I plan on placing an order this weekend.

Good points, Ron. My primary concern is that the current K&N is rubbing and wearing a hole in the side of the filter, so it's got to go. Also, this summer I did a lot of driving on dirt roads, so I'd prefer something with a more enclosed intake. The other factor is that I'm not experienced...

When I purchased my 4Runner it came with a poorly installed K&N cold air intake (no heat shield, filter not securely attached). Anyway, after reading lots about different air filter setups, I've decided to replace it - but with what? I'd love to get everyone's opinion on the options I've come...
