There is only 1 manual worth having for the FJ62 and that's the Factory Service Manual. They are not cheap toyota repair manual. About $75 from the dealer, but well worth it. Occasionally you can find one on eBay.
Before replacing your cat, replace the O2 sensor. Usually that does it. Also the California auto repair pass/fail limits for each model change every year. The limits are completely arbitrary. make sure your engine is running right and it can pass with aftermarket cats.
Do you have your own toyota repair manual? Check it if you can diy it. if not, Call a few different muffler shops around your area and ask for a quote, that is gonna be your best bet.
Some toyota repair shops will have all the correct parts and the matching paint for all Ford vehicles. it will be all oem stuff, not reproduction or knock off parts and paint. Their auto body repair personnel are just as qualified as the tech's in an independent body shop.
What's the best canusb in your opinion? And T5 suite can read fault codes and do car diagnostic too? I have only messed around with maps and tuning never any of that other stuff. Could you point me in a direction as where in T5 to find that information? Thanks again.
