My 2000 limited has factory alarm and it is malfunctioning. .

So after reading the alarm portion of the manual I think the issues is that the alarm arms after 30 seconds and for some reason when I use the fob it thinks I’m forcing the lock on the door. .

I’ll try posting this here. The 15 post rule keeps me from starting a thread about this and I’m not the kind of guy that will make a bunch of useless posts to get to 15. If I lock the car with the fob and unlock shortly after everything works as it should, first press unlocks drivers door...
