I used JDM King Motors of Houston for my 99. I got a used 5VZFE engine for $1000 roughly and had it installed. 60K on engine with new timing belt, pulleys, and water pump installed from previous owner in Japan. I have around 30K on it now with no problems whatsoever.

Nope. None at all. I raised it up another notch to the middle of the Billstein shocks to level it more while I was replacing a leaking shock and it rides considerably rougher, but not terrible. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

I mounted mine on stock 99 rims. I have a 2” body lift also. I’m also running 1.5” wheel spacers, but that is to partially counter body roll from the lift.

My 98 has a plastic key for the ignition and a metal one for the door. Does the power lock work on the driver's door? If not then the vehicle will NOT go in to program mode.

I run Maxxis Bighorns and love them. Not too loud for the aggressive tread and don't hydroplane like wide tires do. They don't weigh as much as the 285s and are load range D so they ride better also. Great tire. I highly recommend them.
