You can do a slight lift (3" front/2" rear) with spacer technology. Check out Cornfed. If you want to go any higher you'll have to change out the entire shock assembly.

For the safe, check out: http://www.center-of-mass.com/ The medium size fits perfectly into my center console. I drilled some holes into it and used some longer bolts to bolt it into the truck. I'm sure a determined thief could get into it, but I'm hoping that it will deter and frustrate...
