Just tried to hold it down and run it open/close.. Pretty sure it was about to burn the motor up so I quit. Looks like mine is an issue to stay.. Time to unplug the switch!

This happened to me last weekend after a day of chill cruising down some trails... I got it shut but the cracking and guides being off, I don't know if I'll ever open it again...

I did the Napa CV axel last year and I haven't had any issues, pretty easy job. I heard the NAPA CV is the best one on the forums but I'm sure that's an opinion. The hardest part is getting the CV axel get seated and removing bolts but an impact drill did the job.

I have a 2004 V8 4x4 with only 148,500 miles and my transfer case actuator seal is leaking too, I also have a minor value cover leak.. Been thinking about getting rid of it as well.. Paying on something that needs repairs is never fun. Just get a new trail and be done! Haha

I called my local dealership and they kept giving me the run around so I called up another dealership about 40mins away and they were awesome, said to bring it in to look at and then schedule an appointment. Great service and brand new dash! I'd call around if your local dealership is playing...

Wow that rack looks awesome! Hopefully they make more of them, would to get one in a few months. Great looking 4Runner btw
