Thank you for the advice. Owners manual gave me 6 scenarios as to why the idiot light would come on. battery on the remote is not causing issue either. I believe it is the sensor that comes from car. i cannot trouble shoot that. not that knowledgeable. was hoping some of the folks here...

I was at gas station and the key fob idiot light came on stating that I did not have a key fob with me. Anybody else have this issue. It snowed last night and went down to 15 degrees last night. could cold cause the sensor to malfunction.
