Asking $700 OBO. Icon 2.5 remote reservoir rear shocks, with adjusters. Used on my 4th gen for about 25k miles before being removed, mostly street miles, run with Icon 2 inch rear springs. About 8.875 shaft length, 25 inches extended, shafts are in great shape, minor cosmetic wear on the...

For sale I'll be posting a for sale thread, but the interior build up will be for sale. I'm taking the 4runner back to stock to sell it.

    BFG KO2’s

I'm not sure what size you're looking at, but I run them in a 255/75/17 load range c and like them a lot. Quiet for an AT, durable in the dirt, not terribly heavy and have worked well in all conditions. Load range makes a huge difference in how a tire feels. I've run cooper at3's on a handful...

I removed the rear factory lower carpet. The removable cargo carpet that goes on top that still works exactly like it did originally and is held in place with the rear cargo hooks.

    Gear ratios

I don't have a write-up, I just kinda went for it, ha. The front diff was a bolt in from a manual 4cyl 4x4 tacoma, and the rear was an elocking 4.10 geared third member I had hanging around from a previous project. Installing the rear third required modifying the axle housing to accept the e...

    Gear ratios

If $ is a factor; 4.10s can be done on the cheap using commonly available parts. I currently run an e-locked 4.10 rear third, and a front clam shell from a 4x4 4cyl tacoma. That ratio with 255/75/17 BFG K02's and minimal added weight works pretty well for me, and is just slightly lower than stock.

    Rear End Droning?

Have you supported the rear end and listened for wheel bearing noise with the rear wheels in the air?

Thanks for the kind words everyone! For me, keeping that 40 part was a requirement, I have an 8 year old adventure buddy. I needed to be able to easily remove the fridge platform and install the rear seat for when I need to haul 4/5 people. My truck isn’t a daily driver, but occasionally I do...

Thank you for the kind words everyone! The fridge is a Dometic CFX 50. As far as the 60 side of the platform, I made a basic angle iron frame, and then some tube stands offs to catch all of the factory seat and seat belt mounting points. Once you pull that part of the seat, it’s easy to see. I...
