I have the exact same vibration! I've tried balancing, alignments, and tire rotation and the harmonic vibration still persists. I have a stock-no mods, v8 limited 2004 with 54000miles. Gonna take it to the dealership next week to get Screwed ! Good Luck and I'll get back with you. Sho3000cc

2004 4runner rattle Yes I found a solution....It was both the inside of the Cat's that were rattling. I had to ride there ass's day and night to find it..Toyota COVERED it unber warrantee. Emissions warranty 80,000/8yrs i think!....free baby......so far no rattle for about 8 mos ! Good luck. cjj

exhaust rattles I have the same problem with my 04 4runner limited v8.... The dealer told me the same thing. "It's the muffler!!!" sucks...sorry no help. cjj

I have the same problem with my 2004 V8 lim 4runner 28,000 It happens when stopped in gear, reverse or drive....mostly wit the A.C. on. Will the dealer fix????? does not happen in neutral or park . what did you do?? They claim it's my muffler!!! ---those losers............
