Here is a pic of the backside of the panel that houses the 4x4 switch. At the 1 o'clock and 11 o'clock position and again down at the bottom 6 o'clock position are the tabs. Just push the tabs in a little and it will start to pop out.
Pic attached.
Any thoughts on the short tube Doug Thorley headers vs long tube on which is easier to install?
My 2004 V8 is just starting the tick sound... mostly when it's cold but when the motor warms up you don't hear it... I know it's going to get worse so I'm going to do the DT header replacement. Just...
I did this radio swap/upgrade to my 2004 4Runner. All went smooth and everything works. My system had the JBL in it so I had to get that wiring harness.
Question I have is that all the lights on my radio switch’s/lettering don’t light up.
Any ideas?
Thanks from a new guy on the forum here!
It’s easy. There are a couple of tabs on the 4x4 switch assy. Just squeeze one or two of them and it should pop loose.
I’m not back home till Sunday and I have a spare switch and trim panel and I can take a couple of pics for you if it will help.
