High Mileage Okay, so my post doesnt really "count" because Im driving a 3rd Gen 4Runner... 2001 - but I have 278k on original engine. The **only** thing Ive replaced on this truck is my CAT. Regular tune ups, water pump/timing belt changes. That's it. :)

New to this blog... Looking for a trusted mechanic in the Nashville/Hendersonville Tennessee area. My baby has 270k miles on her and Im all done getting my maintenance at the stealerships. Need to find someone who I can trust with my toyota baby's maintenance. Looking forward to *hopefully*...

I am right there with you, jspagna1.... I cant imagine having any other truck, mine is a 2001 with 270k. Ive taken good care of her and she has not failed me yet, short of needing a new cat converter. Ive changed timing belts/h20 pump, oil changes, tune ups... whatever it takes to keep her...
