Looks pretty damn good to me, just color the bolts black. Heck, I'm even starting to like that fugly front end.

Got one for my Tacoma, one for my wife's 4runner, and one for my 85 Supra. I love them. They fit the windshield good and work a lot better than the one's you buy at the local parts store. Worth the extra cost IMO.

Saw the biggest concentration of 5th gens while on vacation in Pensacola Beach last week. Was there for 7 days and saw over 50. That's about 10 times what I see in the Nashville area in a week.

I think I would take it to the dealership and get an estimate before I had the Geico guy look at it. That way you would have something to go by when he's estimating your truck. (I would make sure I was there when the estimate was given)

Can't find my directions at this time, but I got them from the parts dept from where I purchased the remote start.(sent to me by email) They were very detailed instructions and made it an easy installation. A lot of trim parts have to be removed, but all in all not much to it.

I suggest you turn it one way, and if that doesn't work, turn it the other...:biggrin2:

Holy Sh*****t, I thought this would never happen. Got one on my Tacoma, been waiting to put one on my wife's 4runner. It's exactly what the T4R needs.

I bought my cover from a member here for a great price. Works well and use it quite often. It doesn't cover every little nook and cranny, but does cover most all that I am hiding. Oh, I do have 3rd row seating, but use it hardly ever.

I have went to the summer meet almost every year and have been to a couple of fall meets. Last year was a little wild with people doing burnouts on the main street behind the stadium. Alot of cops showed up and shut them all down. I wont have the 4runner but I may show up with my TRD...

Got a hood scoop on my Tacoma and would like to have one on my 4runner.

I have the Husky's in my wifes 4runner and the Weather Tech's in my Tacoma. They both have great fit and do a good job of protecting the carpet. But I think the Husky's clean up easier. Knowing what I know now, I would not have paid extra for the WT's and bought the Husky's for my truck.
