nitto terra grapplers? How good are they compared to other all terrains

I ran those Nittos on an old GMC 2500 for a couple of years. They were the E rated model, but worked well in all conditions except sticky mud. They did get a lot of flats though; nail magnets is what I called them.

Looking for Tire suggestions that will..

I may be late to the party in this thread, however: The best tires from my experience have been Toyo M-55. These are a 'commercial traction' grade tire, and they are LEGENDARY in the oil patch, construction, pipeline and wireline industries for durability, longevity, and good traction...

Buying soon, have a couple of questions?

It turns out there is a solution, and a heck of a solution at that. Not for you fellas in the US though, sorry! Backroad GPS Maps I've been using these map books in print format for years; turns out they make GPS maps which are compatible with Garmin nav units like the nuvi series... perfect...

    Really? 6k miles? REALLY?

    Meh. That'll buff right out.

Buying soon, have a couple of questions?

I've had various seat covers in vehicles that I've owned, and prefer leather for ease of cleaning. Not a game changer for me either way though.

Buying soon, have a couple of questions?

With the GPS, it's the ability to use topographic maps that I want, not so much road navigation. Frankly my handheld does this just fine.

Buying soon, have a couple of questions?

Kind of a drag on the seats; actually the only option I dearly wish was available was leather. I may go to the aftermarket for that, as it's much easier to live with, having a Labrador Retriever who goes everywhere with me.

First oil change at 5k or 10k or sooner?

Blackstone are trusted professionals in UOA. Do what gives you the greatest peace of mind, but trust their advice.

Buying soon, have a couple of questions?

Another quick question: as the TE deletes the leather from the SR5 upgrade package, does it come with heated front seats? The documentation isn't clear on this. It's not a deal breaker for me either way. Dammit!!! Now I'm starting to go against an oath I took ten years ago, and I'm considering...

    BC Toyota Sucks

I don't; and that isn't to say that Toyota dealers are bad, it's that car dealers are bad. My experiences with countless GM dealerships over the years have been gut wrenching. Ford dealers have been consistently good, though.

    BC Toyota Sucks

Suddenly this forum is overrun with Canucks. We will slowly assimilate. Resistance is futile.

Is frame rust an issue in Alberta?

This is the main reason that used vehicles list for 12% above the national average; no maritime salt conditions, and little road salt used. Based on my recent experiences in Edmonton, I don't think the city owns any salt/sand trucks or plows at all? LOL

What a rip off! Toyota Canada dealership

From Cowtown (where I was born and raised), Whitefish makes a compelling ski trip weekend destination... just saying. From up here in Fort Mac, a US drop-ship is TOTALLY out of the question! LOL

Buying soon, have a couple of questions?

Thanks for the feedback. I hadn't even thought about an angle for my iPad as GPS... for the time being I'll keep using my Garmin 60Cx I guess. I can recon alright with a compass and topo map, but having the topos on a GPS is just so point-and-shoot! In Canada, the TE doesn't come without KDSS...

Buying soon, have a couple of questions?

Howdy; great forum you have here. In a couple of weeks I'll be purchasing a 2012 Trail Edition, and I have a couple of questions. Can the windows/sunroof be controlled via the keyless entry or factory remote starter remotes? Can the dealer reprogram the ECM/PCM to allow for bigger tires...
