I think the ground crimps should be fine. I will pull off the bolt on frame and grind it to make a better connection after it stops raining here. Will report back. Thanks.

For the rear lights I am using the frame as a return ground path. Is it possible for that to cause the humming vs. a home run for the ground to the battery? I guess my next step would be to contact diode dynamics and see what they say. Thanks for the help.
