That's exactly what I need. Thanks for the extra pics and motivation. We don't have a lot rocks here; it's sand, water and mud. Many of the trails have small branches that could poke up through that open area and ruin your day. I may try this soon.

Man, I wish I could make it. I went with some other Jeeps a few years ago and had a blast. I was living in Columbia, SC then so the ride wasn't bad. The first pic is my old Jeep up there. The second one is my new (to me) 4Runner... stock. Lift and tires are coming soon (June) so maybe next...

I don't have any experience with TGs, but I'm a big fan of BFGs and that's what I'll be putting on my 4Runner when I lift it. I put 30k miles on a set of BFGs on this TJ and loved them. It rains here a lot and I had no issues with traction or hydro-planing. I think you'll be fine with either one.

My top 2 alternate SUV choices are Land Rover Defender 110 or Toyota Land Cruiser.

Just curious, did you tighten the bolts too or just add the sealer? Does anyone know if this is preventable or just bad luck like the timing cover leak I had?
