Wow, good info... Mine has the exact same problem. It had been sitting around quite a bit over the last year or so and I assumed it was the pump that had gone bad.

What I do to check if I have a seized caliper is take it for a short drive, then put my hand near the rotors, you should be able to feel the heat difference between the two of them. DONT TOUCH THE ROTORS!

What was the process in removing/replacing the roof rack, did you have to drop the roof liner inside the truck?!

I find in my V8, just flooring it a few times in a tank of gas shows a signifigant impact. I track my mileage, and buy a lot of gas. Go a tank of gas driving it like an old man, and get back to us. :)
