    Intermittent hesitation under acceleration

Hey everyone, posting here so my experience may help others. I have a 2006 4.7 with 300K miles. Recently, I started to get a slight hesitation under throttle--typically 2nd and 3rd gears. It didn't happen all the time, idled perfectly, and didn't throw any codes. If on the highway and I give...

Bad vibes after lift install - Solved? Solved!

This might be bit of an extreme, but get your hands on two trashed CV joints and take them apart so you only have the splined end parts. Replace your existing CV shafts with just these ends (so you don't lose all your diff fluid or trash your wheel bearings), and see if the vibrations go away...

Will front-end misalignment effect throttle response?

You need to perform a zero point calibration. Same thing happened to me---replaced control arms and got the alignment "close enough" until I could get to a shop. During the test drive, after driving for about 1/2 mile, my VSC and traction lights came on and it was in limp mode....performance...

Update to my check engine light w/VSC

3 Rules to Live By: 1. Always accept food/drink from an elder when offered 2. Never kiss your girlfriend's sister (or mom) 3. Never take car advice from the counter guy at the local Dollar Auto Parts Store Time to reset? Nope. Sure, it'll have to re-run it's readiness checks (cat, evap...

Check engine light with all cylinders misfiring and vsc trac lights on

A blinking CEL indicates a misfire condition that could damage the catalytic converter. It's a good idea to stop the vehicle as soon as safely possible to avoid damage when your CEL is blinking. The VSC/stability lights will ALWAYS come on when your CEL is on. Performing a zero point...

    Door lock actuator hell...

Don't spend the $100+ dollars on a new actuator. It's just the motor (most times) in the actuator that has gone bad. You can get replacement motors online for $10.

    4.7 V8 misfire condition

I don't know exactly what the fuel pressure is supposed to be, but yours certainly seem low (as a previous poster stated). Does your scan tool show fuel trims? If it does, I bet it'll show you're running lean (ECU is adding extra fuel). You're probably right on the verge of it not been lean...

2006 V8 Nearly zero power? Starts fine, idles fine.

Sounds like it's in limp mode. I bet your check engine light is on for the air injection system. Search the forums for it...there are no less than 1 million threads about it. Sounds like a bypass kit is in your future.
