I've never researched but are the 6 and 8 cylinder 4R CV's interchangeable? Do they use the same axle?

I've read they're compatible. Personally, I've never had to do it so I can't tell you first hand. Why not look into reman axles? I don't know if there's any in stock but call them up and see if they have any available...

I use DDM tuning due to their lifetime warranty. They've seemed to work fine in all the cars I've put them in. When they've run their course, I just take it back for an exchange. Haven't purchased anything for a while (3-4 years) from them so I'm not sure on their warranty policy now.
