Here's my first stupid question - daily driver

I make a lot of longer distance drives in this vehicle. Two largest cons in my opinion... first thing you'll notice is the power and gearing, hitting hills mountains is annoying, and forget using cruise control unless driving in totally flat environments. Second is the seats aren't all that...

Anyone "downgrade" their AT tires? E to C.

Based on what you described I would just drop down to stock tire size and get a snow tire. Or you can look at AT tires in stock size. You'd have more options and you aren't gaining much with size in the 275s. You can find the listed weights by manufacturer and read up on unsprung weight...

Is there a secret for dog hair removal?

Hey Wendell, I recently picked up the same vehicle! I'm in Michigan for a few months and hit some of the fire roads and DNR routes near where you mentioned. I started right near the Gladwin County ORV parking lot and checked out the fire lane trails on the north side of 61. The roads themselves...

Rear Diff Breather Mod - Complete!

Good to know. I'll probably do the breather and leave the fluid change for a couple months down the road. Just like you I had water that was up over my rear bumper, still trying to clean the mud off! Thanks for sharing your experience, Sleeter!

Rear Diff Breather Mod - Complete!

Thanks for the reply, e60ral... trying to balance the err with caution vs making a mountain out of it. Haven't even rolled 3k yet but learning a lot quickly

Rear Diff Breather Mod - Complete!

Rear diff fluid change? Stumbled across this thread after recently submerging the rear axle in some muddy waters. The diff had been splashed with several water crossings a few minutes prior but the last was a complete submersion. Wondering if changing the rear diff fluid is recommended? Thanks...
