Sorry fellas I'm here! Ben I missed your email. Just saw it, due to seeing this on the forum and searching for it.....and sure enough it was buried in my mail.

Couple things to be aware of or think about.
1) The AIP system doesn't engage under 41F anyway, so if bypass failed, the system wouldn't run anyway if you are cold starting sub 41F.(yet to have a known failure in the field BTW).
2) The cold weather glitch isnt a repeatable "normal" thing. Its...
My email is in my signature. Yep, email is best way. I Don't do this as a "business"...... more to help people, make a simple, cheap, robust solution...... and buy and occasional adult beverage. The kit is very simple and robust.....very proven on multiple Toyota/Lexus platforms. You will...
The bypass was developed to make it so you didn't have to open up the top 1/3 of your engine and replace stuff that will fail again. Not to mention, there are MANY parts to replace and they aren't cheap. Cant tell you how many people i talk to that "replaced their pump last year" and now a...
Do you have the truck or it's at the mechanic? Easy test. Warm up the truck. Remove/unwire the bypass. Stop and clear codes(battery or scanner methods). With engine still hot and truck "back like stock"(no bypass) start it up. See if you get 0113. If you do......its not the bypass.
Yep, you got the "ole AIP whine".
You wont hear it on a warm engine, just first cold start of the morning....or maybe after work if its been sitting a long time.
Let me know if you need further help, email me for fastest response....im not on here every day.
Hey guys!
Im here:)
I thought I had ordering info in my signature....I'll have to go see what happened to it.
I sell them direct: email me at jeffcolemaps at gmail or search ebay for slyfox75. Coming to me at email saves you shipping and tax. Up to you.

And Limp is caused by a backflow of exhaust gas to some pressure sensors on the manifold area. Thus we use plates to block that flow. Bypass alone wont fix limp. And yes the "system" wont come on under 40F or so but the "system" doesn't include those pressure sensors. So you may start up...
So.....if the valves are open per the codes, you are most likely going to go back into limp mode.....until you get the bypass and plates installed.
You should be able to test this locally though before you get on the road for the long trip. I would drive around town, get up to 65-70 for 5+...
