I definetly want better lighting on low beam operation, the stock lights are poor at best and I am used to my 17 MDX LED lights which are great. I am also planning to upgrade the foglights at the same time with the xtreme pro LED kit. With this in mind will the HID's be too much?

I am trying to decide between your new LED's or the HID kit for my 17 4 runner low beams. I have read lots of posts saying the LED's didn't have much improvement in lighting with the projector housing. Does the new bulb design significantly improve this? How do they compare to using HID?

I installed 5100's all around this weekend on my 17 with KDSS. I followed the method I found on here without the need for a spring compressor. Really not that hard to do. A compentent shop should be able to do the job in 4-5 hours max.

I just did the same thing, they sold quickly on Craigslist for $750 to a FJ owner.

Regarding the load rating, I went back and forth between the C and E rated 265's a month ago when I purchased mine. If you check the C rated 265's load capacity exceeds the rear Axle weight rating.for the 5th gen 4runner. Regardless of the tire weight rating this is the number the truck is rated...

Just picked up a 2017 Off Road with KDSS, roof rack cross bars and all weather mats for $37,750 + tax and registration fees. I also picked up a set of the TRD Pro rims for an additional $750. I am now looking for tires and sliders.
