Well i got a call from my mechanic today and he did a more thorough check than i did, cause he found that the crank bolt WAS loose, and that the crankshaft got destroyed. So I'll be throwing in a new motor shortly lol.
Torque your bolts to spec, people. It helps.
Thanks man, it helps a bit. I've been talking with a mechanic buddy of mine, so I'll just end up taking it to him sometime soon. It's a little out of my comfort zone.

Okay, I just checked and didn't see any sign of a loose crank bolt. My next check was on the crank position sensor. It was pretty gunky so I cleaned off the sensor part. I then checked for ohms in the sensor, and I'm not particularly sure which selector to hit on the multimeter, so I'll post...

I mentioned it in the first post, I have a 96. I got the new cam sensor from autozone. Not particularly sure what the brand was, my brother picked it up for me as I was stuck on the side of the road.
