Thanks for all the comments everyone, I will certainly try as much of this as i can. If i can't find the issue, I'll start calling around local mechanics with the specific issue and really emphasize the draw/electrical/fuse/testing will be needed to solve the problem.

As far as i know everything electrical works. I think the 12V may not work actually but that hasn't worked in years, well before this problem. Nothing else that is aftermarket.
