Thanks John! We're currently at Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. We're actually flying to North Carolina next Saturday to start building Overland Expo East and teach some classes. Then we fly back to our truck here with some needed parts and keep heading south. We have a cruiser now, but the last...

    Ripcord's 2002 4Runner Sport Ed.

Upper links look good. Question though, do the poly bushings flex enough? The upper links on our trucks are made out of solid rod steel similar to what Torsion bars are made out of so they can twist and flex. A few guys snapped the upper mounting ears off of their frame/axle when they went to...

Yah, SS is a lung and leg buster. Sadly, I'm traveling for work so the SS has sat gathering dust for a few months. Thankfully I picked up a Cyclocross bike to ride the pavement and dirt trails to keep me pedaling! Obligatory pic of 4runners so I can say I'm not off topic. :lookout:

This is a great thread for ideas on how to spend money! :redbrick: Okay, I apologize for the overkill number of pics. I started looking through some trips from earlier in the year and couldn't decide. So many good times!! \

AZ "Backroad to Crown King" difficulty

It's a small world when it comes to exploring the backroads of AZ. :thumb3: Anytime you can eat a burger and drink a beer in a 100 year old bar at the end of a trail it's a good one. I was perusing the google analytics and saw the links above so I thought I'd share the trail condition. Have...

AZ "Backroad to Crown King" difficulty

Hey there, the Crown King back road is looking pretty good. The last 4-5 miles which used to be tough are now the easiest portion of the trail due to a tractor grading it. The one big obstacle no longer exists. That being said the road is always changing and spots that used to be no big deal...

Could be the brake proportioning valve. Where the brake lines come together over the rear axle there is a valve that can be adjusted to proportion the braking force from the rear to the front and vice versa. Try re-adjusting it and see what it does for you.
