    Lifted and new kicks

That's a good looking 4Runner! I think the 3" front and 1.5" rear is the perfect lift. Looks a lot more aggressive.

    Snow storm coming .....

As much fun as I have in the snow, I think I'm ready for summer. The taste of warm weather we got 2 weeks ago has me ready to go out and spend the day detailing the 4Runner inside and out. If you do get hit though have fun! Joe

    Quick tire opinion

I'm going with blackwall out this next time. The Grandtreks were white out and I had the Revo's put on white out. I'm ready for a change and I think. I agree with the illusion that the white lettering makes the tire sidewall appear smaller. All black sidewall just looks meaty! Plus, it only...

    New Camera Suggestions

The Powershot SD1000 got some excellent reviews. Looks to be a great camera and Amazon is listing it at $299 but onsale for $258 right now. Hmm, you guys may have swayed me into getting a new camera when I wasn't really planning on getting one just yet. Man, you gotta love this forum! :D -Joe

Falls I got a question for you, or anyone.

I've never used chains or cables on my 4Runner. With the right tires you can pretty much go where you want, respectively. Any vehicle can pack snow under the frame and lift the wheels from getting any traction as seen in my thread here...

Falls I got a question for you, or anyone.

I like the look of the Cooper tires. My Uncle used them religously on his Tundra before he went with the Geolanders. The most mileage he ever got out of them was about 30K though. For the price of them compared to some others that's not all that bad. Jacal, I agree with you about the chains...

New to the 4 runner community

First off, welcome to the forum! As far as finding the panels and other various interior pieces, I would start by searching around your local junk yards.

Fell in love with another SUV this weekend.....

The sales manager at the dealership I frequent said the new body style/interior of the Sequoia would match that of the new Tundra. Not sure how reliable his info is, but it makes sense to me.

That's very interesting. I'm going to check into if I do decide on the M/T's. They claim 200% better traction with no extra tire wear? That would be incredible if it's true. Thanks for all the info Thai, you the man!

    Anyone hear from KOZ ?

Ouch. Hopefully he has a full recovery as well and comes back soon. I always enjoyed talking with him on here.

Nice! 40K-50K out of an M/T is more then I expected to hear. I was thinking of more around 30K. Maybe I'm a little tire retarded but what is siping? Is that the same as putting studs in it? Pennsylvania used to be a good winter state but lately, aside from this year (yay!), the winter's have...
