I paid $700 for cleaning, masking and powder coat all the parts of the bumper minus the aluminum pieces in the Bay Area, CA. I too was a bit sticker shocked.

Encountered the exact same issue 2/12/19 purchasing MOOG LCAs from Rock Auto. These parts DO NOT FIT. Buy them at the risk of having your truck on jack stands for a few days. MOOG RK622834 MOOG RK622835

Just did the mod today and it seems to work! One key note is not to completely cut the dark green wire, just add a jumper between the two wires as was described. No more annoying indicator!

Agreed. I'm have a full length Rhino Rack with Pioneer/Backbone system and while I love it, it required some modification since I added a RoofNest hardtop RTT. The RTT has mounting rails which point fore/aft, as do the Rhino Rack systems. This means that you will have to buy accessory crossbars...
