Nope. You can't just say tires when people are posting higher than normal MPG and stating they are using tires on the heavier side while their post location is in like New Mexico, Nevada, or PA.

There is a pattern here. The people averaging lower MPG live in denser states/cities (San Francisco, Los Angeles etc). So for those of you wondering about the discrepancies, that's why.
