    Emergency braking and nose dive?

I have a '21 ORP and if I wasn't able to upgrade the suspension, I wouldn't have even bought a 4Runner at all. THAT is how bad the nosedive is on stock suspension. Upgraded to 6112/5160 lift and zero nosedive. Even though I'm 2.5" higher, it drives just like a car on the street.

    TRD Pro w/Eibach Lift w/265's

It's exclusively a style preference. I prefer the look of the top pic more than the lower pic. I'm just not a fan of the fat balloon tire look. I like a sharper profile, more in line with the size and cut of the rims as opposed to round. I just don't see a T4R as a soft, round-type of 4x4. My...

Would a 5th gen TRD ORP make a decent Daily Driver?

Damn! Sounds like SF hates 4x4s. :tsk: I live and work in a large university city. Not a giant city, but a decent size one. I've only gone to three parking garages since my lift, but I have had no problems at all. I can also say for certain, my 4R is not the highest lifted vehicle in the garage.

To be honest, those stats were copied and pasted. lol:flame: No, it's not "leveled", it's just level. lol I did 2.5" up front and 1.5" Bilstein springs in the rear. Bilstein says their 1.5" springs settle at 1" for 4wd 4Runner, which has definitely proved true. The stock rear is about 1.5"...

Would a 5th gen TRD ORP make a decent Daily Driver?

Upper Control Arms. The aftermarket variety are a big improvement in handling, and necessary upgrade if you want 3" lift or more. Sounds like that's not an issue for you but I read that UCA improved highway driving. Less sway, more stable, etc. so I definitely wanted the UCA upgrade. I have...

Would a 5th gen TRD ORP make a decent Daily Driver?

Exactly what I did. $2k for the 6112/5160 combo and Element UCA. Bump stops too. for under $2k and 2021 TRD Pro rims for $750 and my ORP is better than a Pro, in my opinion. Why? Because the Element UCA provides a much better ride, more stable than stock. And my lift is 2.5" in the front and 1"...

Would a 5th gen TRD ORP make a decent Daily Driver?

I live in a subdivision and work in the city. My ORP is my favorite daily driver I've ever owned, hands down. Parking garages and parallel parking are a breeze. If I need to drive OVER a parking block, I can do that too. Upgrade your suspension and it will drive basically just like a...

Offset is wayyy different. 11-mm. with 4-mm. The offset widens the overall vehicle track width by 0.9-in. Since new model sits almost a full inch wider stance, the new rims basically come with built in 1" Spidertrax! These wheels make the 165 70 lood much bigger than they really are. I love the...

Magnetic Grey 4Runners! Lets see them!

2021 ORP with the new TRD Pro wheels on 265 KO2. Billstein 6112/5160 2.5" front and 1" rear lift, Element UCA. I wanted as close to level as possible. Once I get a set of sliders, she'll be complete... for now. lol

Magnetic Grey 4Runners! Lets see them!

Bro... I just installed the same exact setup but my 6112 are set to 2.5". I'll wait a week or two to let it settle then post a pic like yours so you can compare. Just in case you ever considered the 2.5" setting. The steering and handling is outstanding at full height.

How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

Paid MSRP for my new TRD ORP about 2 months ago in Detroit area. I had worked with a salesman who agreed to call me if any buyers back out of purchasing a 4Runner they ordered. Two weeks later, got a call that a buyer backed out and I was the first one he called, but he also called two other...

Help Needed: Bouncy Ride - 5100’s and Rear Spacers

I can't be of much help to troubleshoot, but I can say that I had 5100's on. my Gen4 set at 2.5" and the results were the opposite of yours. Much stiffer and stable, less sway, less roll. Just all around better. So I would expect your results should be at least somewhat close on a 5th Gen.

Stealership Brand New Battery - COMPLETELY DRAINED

That can happen no matter where you get a battery. I have had that happen to me twice. Brand new battery from Auto Zone was totally dead and one from O'Reiley was same thing. They aren't tested by any retailers so they don't know if they're selling a bum battery. They just trust the manufacturer...
