Did the swap yesterday. Used 2" OD stainless fender washers rather than the pricy OEM ones. 80 bucks cdn each for the shocks and 8 bucks for the washers.

Finally got around to installing my panhard correction kit from Keith. And man i wish i did it sooner. The runner drives much better now that the rear axle is properly centered. Also pressed in some new superflex bushings in a straight second hand panhard. Now i just need to get around to...

Brought the old girl into the 21st century with an Android head unit.

Changed the downstream o2 sensor on the wifes '00 with a denso and finally got rid of the p420 code.

Removed the 1.5" BL out of my 97 limited.

Gathered some parts for upcoming maintenance. OEM rotors and pads for the Mrs' 2000 (waiting in calipers from Napa) And scored a pair of front coils from my buddies LX450. Helped him install a Dobinsons lift and got these as a "thanks for the help". Springs are 20.25" Blue Yellow White 8.75...

My Savage Offroad swingout showed up just before Christmas. Now to get it powdercoated before the end of the year so i can imstall it.

Thanks for the words of wisdom. The lower control arms on both my 4runners have been torqued to 5 ugga duggas. I will continue to keep an eye on them checking them periodically to make sure the stay tight.

More work on the wifes 00 4runner. Replaced her bent rear lower control arms with a pair of straight ones from my 97. Also took the front wheels off to check the brake pads and rotors. Also checked the lbjs and found no play whatsoever.

I just got a rear drivers side grab handle from another 97 that was being parted out locally. As previously mentioned the screw bosses and under the headliner. Just made two small cuts with and exacto knife and then screwed them in. Im 6'1" and dont hit my head getting in but i can see that...

Installed a grab handle on thw driver's side and washed the 97. Then dug into the dash on the Mrs' 00 to fix the clock and get the stereo working.
