ill try the IAC valve, looks like i need a good amount of time to do it.

There is no whistle when idling. It only happens when i put my foot on the gas, and gets higher pitched the higher it revs. Its odd because it goes away after a couple minutes or until i get to operating temp.

When warm the starter is weak and skips and has trouble starting. The whistle is coming from the engine bay, and becomes higher pitched the more i accelerate.

So my new 2000 4runner is awesome. Just had a couple quick questions though. When I start it up in the morning it starts up strong and normally. If i turn it off after driving and up to normal operating temp, run into a store and come back and start it up again, it skips or is very weak. My...

I was thinking of going to take a look at this 4runner. Thats until I saw the "Replaced Transmission with a 70k miles used one." I think that is suspicious of a past strawberry milkshake. Should I still take a look and see if it was replaced by a certified toyota tech. Would it still be ok...
