ummmm some vw crosshairs. i used the old factory buckets. I really need to make a surround for them to clean it up. I always liked the old round headlight look. They make a kit for some of the Landcruisers but i never found anything for a 4runner.
Well i got to drive it!!
Blew the head gasket in Feb..finally, got this motor in a couple of weeks ago/ =)
Feels great to be driving her again!!
oh, smooshed a couple of things getting her out, lol. If you do this with a bumper on good chance you'll smash your condenser like it did. haha
rebuilt starter..(well the contacts), replaced pass side axle and am currently replacing the steering rack. (had to stop and order high and low pressure hoses..dem bisshes is stuck, lol =)
dude, i had one slip at 175K miles...All i did was drain the pan and refill with Royal Purple. Now has over 253k miles and hasn't slipped since. It was a 2wd 3.4...my brother drives it now.
easiest way I have found to change filter is thru the drivers side wheel weld. you can reach it easily, but yeah, still usually have to spray the skid plate off. lol
I went with one of these last year complete ready to swap in. Was well packed and rides out smooth. Cost was good too.

I like the factory 16 steel wheels they used on the Tacos and some Runners, those look good whited out.
Also the factory 17 steel wheels from an FJ look good all white too. can usually get a new set for about 400.00
