2006 V8 4WD Sport 63,000 miles. Never any problems with it. All stock except the radio, replaced it with a Toyota entune radio for the Bluetooth and hands free calling. Occasionally even get free XM radio stations.

I believe you will have to have the Bluetooth mic for Bluetooth to work. When I was hooking everything up on mine, Bluetooth only worked once I installed the mic. If there is an aftermarket mic that is plug and play, I am not aware of it. You can take the oem mic part number and check online...
