Who is towing a pontoon boat? Share your experience.

I towed ours this past Spring for about 100 miles from the dealer to our place at the lake. Overall it did ok through the VA Piedmont hills, of course the already-overweight 4R required manual shifting and generally staying in 3rd-gear if you wanted to maintain any sort of highway speed. There...

FS: 2015 Trail Premium w/ KDSS build, Virginia, $35,000

Sorry, not trying to part out. The only way I'll be able to stand letting her go will be as a whole to someone who is going to use/enjoy her as intended. Thanks for the interest though.

FS: 2015 Trail Premium w/ KDSS build, Virginia, $35,000

I've been thinking of moving on to other projects and putting my current Runner on the market. Already had some offers from dealers but would rather it go to someone who would use/appreciate it as it was built and intended for. I am the original owner and ordered this truck new to my exact...

Best Dual Battery Setup for a 5th Gen 4Runner

I'm anxious to hear of your outcome with this. I already have an ARB Dual sitting on a Bandi mount in the passenger rear location. My SPoD and wiring are mounted at the other potential location for the compressor on the drivers side beyond the electrical panel, so I don't plan on moving it...

2017 TRD Off Road vs TRD Pro

If you ever plan on adding such things to your front end as high-clearance bumpers or even a hidden winch mount / plate, all of those sensors and radar that will probably show up as TSS options on the '18+ models will make it a real PITA.

Sliding Cargo Tray - Not available on '16's?

I ordered my '15 TP with literally every option checked, and one I really wanted was the sliding rear tray. At the time of order I was told that due to regional issues (at a dealer in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia) the dealer couldn't order the sliding tray from the factory, but they would...

    Automatic headlights

another Toyota oddity when it comes to packaging... On the Pro, you can't get a sunroof, flashy mirrors, etc. but randomly auto lights are included. On any Premium, you can have those goodies but randomly no auto lights.

    5th Gen Spotted Thread

On last nights 'The First 48' (A&E show documenting real-life homicide investigations), as they load the dead guy into the van I glimpse a quick peek of 4Runner back glass and a Gobi ladder in the background driveway. The girlfriend called bs on my spotting, so I Google-Earth'd all the way down...

    Hood wrap

Personally not a fan of the 'stripe' look. I think a solid hood with the scoop adding differentiating contrast is the way to go when wrapping/dipping these hoods.
