This was my thinking, except the fingerprint problem, when I bought a 2017 TRD OffRoad I didn't want all the tech BS that comes on a lot of newer vehicles the biggest item I miss from the previous vehicle is auto headlights.

General Grabber AT2 have the mountain snow flake symbol designating them as a winter tire. I have them on my truck but no real snow this year so I don't have any winter driving feedback with them yet.

Add the General Grabber AT2 to your list slightly noisier than the stock tires and they have the snow flake so they are good for winter conditions.

That's actually really funny as those things noted in the video are the exact reasons I picked the 4Runner. Compared to other vehicles in the same market segment it's actually low in the tech department it wasn't loaded with what I consider unnecessary and overly complicated electronics like...

The one thing in towing threads on all forums that is always overlooked is expectations. Some will report a great towing experience if their maxed out rig makes it to the campground unscathed even if it could only do 30mph on the hills. Others expect nothing less than the feeling of a 2500lb...

I'm also in South Surrey, Mag Grey Trail with a pro grille, I'll keep a lookout for a white pro. I have only seen two TRD Pro 4Runners and these were Washington plated on the 99 headed South to the border. I have not seen a Canadian plated Pro yet.

Same here. Looking at pics posted throughout the forum white letters seem popular with the 4Runner crowd I think it makes any vehicle look too busy and takes away from the clean look. White walls belong on Grandads Oldsmobile or a 60's muscle car not a new 4Runner.

Did you get the Grey TRD Off Road they had on the lot ?

I got mine from langley Toyotatown I ordered the two part numbers in the first post and received the same part numbers no crossing to a different number. They took a week to get as they had to come from another distribution center, back East I think.

Added the 4 Wheel Drive badge went with the retro beige I think it looks better on the Mag Gray.

Interesting idea. I have zero experience with engine swaps like you mentioned but I did stay at A Holiday Inn last night. I just sold a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD with the 6.6L Duramax and during that ownership I read a lot on the diesel forums about engine swaps the older mechanical injected...
