5th Gen - KDSS Compatible Lower Control Arms!

jrandom I do have stock length racing LCA (non Kdss). Post number 4 by Total Chaos says single shock you do not need spacer. I have no tire or wheel rubbing just the metal “knuckle” that bolts to the bottom of the uniball contacting the control arm at full lock. I would assume this is the same...

5th Gen - KDSS Compatible Lower Control Arms!

jrandom Sorry about that. Total Chaos is closed on Fridays thought I would post here to maybe get a response. From what I understand the regular stock arms don't need spacers. Wheel doesn't hit, the knuckle under the uniball hits on the lower part of the arm even after cutting off what was...

5th Gen - KDSS Compatible Lower Control Arms!

We just installed the stock length racing lowers on my 2016 TRD pro and have some rubbing at full lock right behind the uniball on the bottom. How much is normal? Thanks Josh

    Drummer's Adventure Thread

Looks like you are getting some good use out of the 4 runner. I hope you enjoy the time with the family on all the future trips. I got my 4 runner for similar reasons, enough room for the family and enough capability to really go fine some adventure. Gongrats on the kid.

    Roof top tents questions

We have an autohome airtop and love it. Easy to set up and the thing i most like about the autohome is the hard shell protecting the tent. We have ours on top of a teardrop trailer basically doubling the sleeping capacity.

Looks like a really fun day. How was Corral Hallow with a non lifted rig? I am new to off-roading and am looking for some easier trails to start with. I am also in the Bay Area and it looks like you know where some awesome spots are.

    Let's talk Winches

Anyone try the Warn 9.0rc? I like the idea of keeping the weight down as much as possible. I got the Pelfrey hidden winch mount and thought this would work well together. But any advice would be great. I am new to off-roading.
