ok, so i went ahead and tapped into the outlets, and drivers side works great. i just took out the passenger side to install heating element, and realized that there is what i assume to be a passenger detecting sensor for the air bag. does anyone know if installing the heated seat will damage or...

if i tap each seat into a different outlet i would be fine, right? or is there 100w combined for both? i feel like such a newb, but what is IIRC?

funny you should mention those. i just started to take the plugs out to plug in there. i just came to make sure that would be ok electrical-wise. i would rather not catch her car on fire... pink/green is power, black/white is ground yeah? so i just pull the connectors off and splice the wiress...

i installed heated seats into my girlfriends '00 se, but haven't hooked them into any power. i was wondering if there is an easy place to tap into, if anyone knew of an extremely easy write up for doing this. i can hold my own with a wrench, but when it comes to electrical, i just want to cry...

ok, so i bought some heated seat kits for my girlfriend's 2000 ltd, and they have the standard aftermarket round black switch. i think the switchs is ugly, and i think she will hate them. anyway, i was wondering if anyone has had any success in locating and installing oem switches? thanks
