I just got accustomed to the whine and forgot about it. I recall reading somewhere that the whine was related to the cut of the differential gears and nothing to be concerned with.

If you want/need to replace the radio, how do you remove this without damaging the dash or leaving adhesive residue on the dash?

This exactly. I've also heard of entire roof racks being ripped from vehicles simply because it was easier to rip the rack off than try to remove the bike, kayak, trunk, etc from what was holding it to the rack.

I'm no expert, but I would venture to guess that you're oversimplifying the process to make them street legal. Its probably more about the SAE/DOT certifications on the specific assembly parts. You may be able to change the bulb to make it act like a street legal unit, but without the SAE/DOT...

Referencing your first picture and noticing the garage door height, if you plan to continue parking in the garage you might want to make sure that you can clear the garage door. The new suspension, lift, and 2019 TRD Pro roof rack might create a clearance issue. Just a thought.

I almost exclusively use ethanol free, 87 octane gas. I have a station 4 miles from my house that sells it year round and the price difference is only about $0.20 higher than 87 octane ethanol mix. I average 20.4-22.5 mpg year round on a totally stock SR5.
