OP - Not sure what the mileage is on your 4th gen, but if you've maintained it just keep driving it until the wheels fall off. That should give the market plenty of time to correct itself. Also, hopefully by then the 6th gen will be out and you can spend plenty of time researching and checking...
That's not true at all. BSM, DRCC, and LDA all work quite well and make road trips much more relaxed. I wish the 4Runner came with LCA because at that point all you'd need to do pay attention and the vehicle would drive itself damn near.
Having the preference of not purchasing those safety...
