They do ride pretty damn nicely (tried them in a Tacoma). That being said, most of the 2.5's are rebuildable with the right tools.

Based on other dobinson shocks, id say 18mm is the shaft size for the 4runner/56mm body. The 22mm size is for the 66mm shock body.

Just hold the top during when jacking up the first few inches and you should be fine. The lotus adapter (which is in the picture) makes the jack pretty darn stable. If you want it to be more stable, get that $100 base (actually looks pretty good).

I'm running a 2.0" lift with 3.9 caster. Never asked the tech to max the caster so maybe it could go above 4.

Friend of mine has that wheel and 295 KM3s and was still rubbing on that plastic but behind the mud flap and on that fender itself. Can't remember his caster # but try to get as high as you can!
