SOLD! Hi there, For sale I have a set of used Dobinson C59-675V Rear springs. Some surface rust but otherwise in perfectly functional condition. These are great for giving a mostly stock weight 5th Gen 4runner a 3 inch lift. They rode great without giving that overly harsh ride that you get...

    Chandlerdooms Hardshell RTT, UPDATE 6/7

Chandlerdoom I realize this might be a long shot but is there any possibility of getting a solar powered ventilation fan similar to the James Baroud models? I think that'd be a nice addition to help with moving air. Speaking of ventilation how is it in the rain with just the vent flap? Can...

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

What bulb did you use for the rear hatch? I know Amazon is littered with them but I've had so-so results with random Amazon bulbs. I'll probably be keeping my interior lights incandescent just because it's easier on the eyes at night but I do like the idea of having more light in the back.

Wife/Girlfriend-Friendly Wheeling Trip July 14th - Boreas Pass, Denver, Colorado

I haven't been up to Boreas Pass yet but it looks like a gorgeous area. Is there an option to do a hike while we're up there? Potentially separate of the group? Also any more rough and tumble offroading options for those who choose to do so? Thanks!

    2-way radio interference?

Also wanted to comment that I haven't seen anything crazy while using my radios in the 4runner. I have a 50watt Kenwood Tmv71a and several Baofeng units that'll use every so often in the truck. About the only negative effect I can really say I've experienced is when transmitting the HD radio...

    Lifts with 265/70/17, issues?

Thanks! The roof led bar is from Extreme LED. It's their 44inch x6 model. I went with it to match the bundled x6s light bar that came with my C4 Fab bumper. I've been really happy with both bars so far. Also keep an eye for sales on their site. Here's a thread with more info. Link Edit...

Western NC: where could we to go Overlanding safely?

While I can't offer any specific advice about the locations you posted, I do want to let you know about this website: https://www.trailsoffroad.com/ Has a pretty good listing of trails and their ratings. Stay below a 3-4 rating and you should be in good shape.

    Lifts with 265/70/17, issues?

I skipped leg day. Here's some pics of my setup. 3 inch lift all around. Still rocking 265's. I'm happy with it. May go to a 275 for a tiny bit more ground clearance when this set wears out but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Went offroading with some friends yesterday up near Empire, Co. Still some snow up high and finally got a chance to use my winch to get me up a snowy uphill section.

    Extreme LED

That's a good idea. When I stick my hand up through the sunroof I feel like the majority of the air is being forced through that small gap between the crossbar and the light. I'll try to seal that gap this weekend and see how it plays out. :thumb:
