Thanks, that's nice of you to say. I put it right at current Blue Book for private sale in my area. Wasn't trying to get rich off of it, just get fair money. Though I should have listed it two months ago, Blue Book dropped as soon as the '14's became available on Toyota's web site.

I recall seeing the replacement vendor part number in several of the wiper replacement parts catalogs at Auto Zone. Whether they actually stock the part numbers listed, I have no idea.

The V8 has hydraulic lifters and no adjustment should be necessary (and maybe not even possible, not sure). What you are probably hearing is the injectors firing. A normal noise in many vehicles with fuel injection.

To take the skid plate off next time just pull down on it while you back off on the bolts. That should allow you to remove the skid plate. Then you'll have to tap out the holes with a slightly larger diameter bolt size and use that same bolt size in the future when reinstalling the skid...

I've had my '03 since new and refilled the washer solution reservoir maybe 4 times. If there was ever a posibility of stagnant fluid causing a smell I'd have it. And I don't. I even used the washers a few minutes ago just to make sure. Could it be the brand of washer fluid you are using...

It's got about 63K on it now and I've owned my '03 since new. The only non-scheduled maintenance related repair was the AC Relay ($60) about a year ago. Other than that just the usual wear and tear stuff: fluid changes, filters, brake pads, and tires.

I put 265/70/17 Michelin LTX M/S 2's on my truck a year ago and love them. I don't notice any more road noise than with my CT's and they're great in the snow and rain.

On my full sized Bronco I had much more noise (especially at highway speeds) and about 50% less tread life with the BFG MT's versus the BFG AT's.

My 265/70/R17 Michelin LTX-MS2 tires rub only when the wheel is at full lock and I'm braking. It's not a bad rub, just one that lets you know there's no more room for bigger tires unless you have deeper pockets for a lift. :)

I've tracked my mileage and octane in a spreadsheet since the day I bought my 4Runner new. I feel a definite seat of the pants difference in performance when using higher octane gasoline. However, for me, there's no difference in MPG's.:crybaby: I wish higher octane related to better mileage...

My '03 is still on the original battery, though I only have 61K on the truck. Wish we could get these batteries in the states. It's the only one I've owned in over than 35 years of driving that lasted more than 4 years!
