I get it. All the drawbacks are true, particularly in comparison to full size pickups/SUVs rather than prior gen 4Runners. This vehicle is a compromise in many ways, and if the strengths of your TRD-Pro aren't enough to endear you to the 4R, it might be time move on. Powerwagon or Coyote 5.0...
