In the thread someone replied they have used black and passed CA's inspection. I would do the same, but I would ever tell you to skirt the law. Just saying....I would never in live in CA, this example is just one of many.

Thanks for the useful link... Recently replaced a leaking valve cover on my 1997 Tacoma (DLX with 3.4) and had issues with the old cracked hoses - replacing with these, purchased the kit. Will post follow up...:thumb3:
