3rd gen Skidplate Plans Available Here

Found this older thread and pmd the op a few weeks ago with no response. Does anyone know if there is another source for a skid plate design like this? I like the idea of making my own and saving some time on the design. Saves a lot of money in shipping a pre made one to me as well.

    Supra master cylinder anyone?

Thanks for the responses. For bench bleeding I just looped the lines back into the res and pumped the master in my vice until no air. Based on reading the FSM it's saying the same thing without having to take it out / make a line to do it. Not my first time so Iam pretty confident on the...

    Supra master cylinder anyone?

I agree the 1/16 size doesn't seem like that big of a change. Even area wise it's only 12% larger. But, a Ford GT mustang has a 1 - 1/16 master with good size brakes. Also a supra had good decent size brakes. I am surprised the 1" master on the 4runner isn't moving enough volume.

    Supra master cylinder anyone?

Hi all, been awhile since I have posted on hear. Question, has anyone used a mk4 supra master cylinder on the 4runner to help with brake pedal travel? I have been reading up on the master cylinder options, found links related to T100's and even a chevy blazer from 76. T100 I like due...

door ajar light stays on, not a door switch or hatch, what else could it be

Okay good to know. Seems to be a lot of wiring for a dealer option, Would all trucks have the wiring going under the seat and dealer just adds the box, or would the dealer actually change out wiring harness'? Being a dealer option will make it extra hard to find then. I was planning on heading...

door ajar light stays on, not a door switch or hatch, what else could it be

Still dickin around with this problem when the weather is nice enough to play with wires. With 1K disconnected the door ajar light is till on. 3B based on what I see in the wiring diagram is not on the steering column, it's way up near the fire wall beside the steering column. When I...

door ajar light stays on, not a door switch or hatch, what else could it be

those Electrical drawings are great thank you. So now with these drawings in hand this makes even less sense to me. So I'm going to explain what I've done below and please let me know if I am reading this correctly. So from the fuse box/integrated relay, I've disconnected 1A and 1F. Those...

Thanks Durk, do you have a download link to the entire wiring manual that you attached. That diagram you posted is different then the one I've been looking at.

door ajar light stays on, not a door switch or hatch, what else could it be

Since submerging the 4runner about a month ago I've been working on fixing electrical issues. With great help from this forum I have the truck fully running I just have 2 things left the door ajar light stuck on and the 4wd drive light not illuminating. I've taken all the door switches out...

    Door ajar light on dash

Bringing an old thread up, but can anyone tell me where this red wire is located? I was trying to do the same thing and just kill the light by disconnecting the switch in the latch. I removed the connector going to the latch assembly which I figured would have been the right wires but it did...

need electrical help after swamping the 4runner

Okay thanks. I did open that relay and did not see anything noticeably wrong on the circuit board. There is a good size black round component in there which is the only thing i think could be bad. I'll try to find a used one to swap in too see if that corrects the issue. Thanks

need electrical help after swamping the 4runner

Yeah I learned pretty quickly I didn't have a body ecu when I took apart the fuse box and had a table full of electrical strips... wasn't fun fitting that all back together. The windows work so power to the 30amp fuse is okay. Where is the integrated relay, is that the black box that plugs...

I just looked up the Body ECU, I have already removed it and checked it. No water had entered it.

need electrical help after swamping the 4runner

Its a 97 4wd 3.4 auto. I dont believe the water reached the body ECU as it was only up to the pedals. I have had all those connectors out at the back of the interior fuse box but I dont recall seeing the body ECU, what does it look like?
